Content Manager

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a weekly/monthly content calendar for the website and social media.
• Create, edit, and publish event listings, blogs, captions, articles, and promotional content.
• Research and publish upcoming events across Ghana; collect, verify, and update event information.
• Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Optimise website content for SEO and search visibility.
• Cover selected events and produce real-time or recap content.
• Work with event organisers, brands, artists, venues, photographers, and partners.
• Monitor content performance with analytics and recommend improvements.
• Identify trending topics and audience growth opportunities.
• Maintain consistent Ghanas Event brand voice and standards.
• Support promotional campaigns and special projects.

Requirements

• Degree, diploma, or relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 2+ years in content creation, digital marketing, or media preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of social platforms and growth strategies.
• Hands-on with tools such as Canva, CapCut, WordPress, or Adobe Suite.
• Photography/video and basic editing skills are an advantage.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills; able to meet deadlines.
• Passion for events, entertainment, lifestyle, tourism, and digital media in Ghana.
• Proactive, creative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
