Who these guidelines cover
These standards apply to everyone using Ghanas Event: attendees, organisers, admins, and visitors. They sit alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. Serious violations can lead to content removal, account limits, or permanent bans.
For attendees
- Be respectful in messages, reviews, and any interaction with organisers or other users.
- Use tickets only as issued. Do not share, forge, or resell QR codes in ways that violate event or platform rules.
- Do not attempt to game promotions, fake engagement, or abuse support channels.
- Report suspicious events, scams, or unsafe listings instead of amplifying them.
- Follow venue and organiser entry rules on event day, including ID or age checks when required.
For organisers
- Publish accurate titles, dates, times, venues, cities, and ticket prices.
- Use real event imagery you have rights to use. Do not steal brands or mislead with unrelated photos.
- Honour ticket commitments. Communicate cancellations and major changes promptly.
- Do not impersonate venues, churches, artists, brands, or other organisers.
- Keep refund and entry policies clear on the event page where they apply.
- Do not create fake sold-out pressure, fake follower counts, or manipulated rankings.

Reporting a concern
If you see a listing, account, or message that breaks these guidelines, report it. Include the event URL or ticket reference, screenshots when useful, and a short description of what happened.
- Contact support — primary reporting channel
- Email support@ghanasevent.com
- For urgent safety threats involving immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services first, then inform us.
How we enforce
Depending on severity and history, we may:
- Remove or unpublish content and event listings
- Limit features (publishing, messaging, promotions)
- Temporarily suspend an account
- Permanently remove accounts for severe or repeated abuse
- Cooperate with law enforcement when legally required
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, reply through support with context. We review good-faith appeals.
