Ghanas Event Help

How can we help?

Answers for attendees and organisers — tickets, check-in, publishing, payments, and account support.

Frequently asked questions

Popular:
How do I buy a ticket?+

Open an event page, choose a ticket type, and complete checkout. Paid tickets use Paystack (cards and mobile money). Free tickets skip payment and still issue a QR pass.

Where do I find my tickets?+

Go to My Tickets after signing in. Each confirmed ticket shows a QR code and a Download PDF button. Not signed in? Use Find My Tickets to get a summary emailed to the address you used at checkout.

Can I find my tickets without an account or login?+

Yes. Open the Find My Tickets page, enter the email you used at checkout, and we email you a summary of every confirmed ticket — event, ticket type, and reference. To show QR codes at the door, sign in with that same email.

Can I get a refund?+

Refund eligibility depends on the event terms and our Refund Policy. Cancelled events and duplicate charges are typical valid cases. See Refund Policy for details.

How do I create an event?+

Register or sign in as an organiser, open Create Events, add your details and ticket types, then publish. Read the Organiser Hub for a full walkthrough.

Can I host free and paid tickets together?+

Yes. Add multiple ticket types on one event — for example Free Guest, Regular, and VIP.

What does Ghanas Event charge organisers?+

Listing is free. Organisers who sell paid tickets pay a 6% all-in service fee (Ghanas Event covers Paystack processing). Payouts settle the next working day via Paystack; Friday–Sunday sales typically arrive Monday. See Pricing and Terms for organisers.

What are promotion boosts?+

Optional paid visibility upgrades (separate from the ticket sales fee). Boosted events rank above free listings for the boost period and show a Promoted badge. See Pricing.

Do attendees pay the organiser service fee?+

No. The platform service fee on ticket sales is charged to organisers. Attendees pay the ticket price shown at checkout (plus any amount clearly disclosed there). See Terms for attendees.

How does QR check-in work?+

Every successful registration or purchase gets a unique QR code. Door staff scan it at entry. Attendees can also show a downloaded PDF ticket.

I cannot sign in or access my account+

Use Forgot password on the login page, or contact support with the email on your account. Google sign-in users should continue with the same Google account.

How do I save events for later?+

Tap the heart on an event card or event page while signed in. Saved events appear under Saved Events.

Who built Ghanas Event?+
